Manawa Lanka Foundation was formed at the meeting convened by Justin Karandawala who later became the founder President of Manawa Lanka Foundation at Hotel Ceylon Continental on 20th June 2005.
Our Objective:
- To promote and uphold the rights of children, prevent child exploitation
- To promote adequate health-care for all communities, to improve their skills in all aspects of education and quality of life
- To promote, maintain, and uphold freedom of all religions, cultures etc through non-violent means.
Projects:We have done many projects throughout the small period of time, renovating the children’s home, distribution of Books & cloths for the children’s home (children who have lost their parents because of the war), organizing a Sports day with children of Negombo and followed with a Beach Party for children, organized a free medical camp in Nuwara Eliya, are some of the major activities which we have accomplished successfully.
