About our organisation:
The
All Pakistan Federation of United Trade Unions (APFUTU) is a registered
trades unions centre at national level. It has been registered from the
National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) a division of the
Ministry of Labour, Government of Pakistan in 1993. Since its' establishment the APFUTU is struggling for the betterment of the working class.
Our main Goal is the elimination of Child Labour, Bonded Labour, Forced Labour, illiteracy and poverty from Pakistan. We are working on Human Rights, Children's Rights, Women 's Rights in our country. There are three wings: Women Wing, Youth Wing and Child Labour wing. These wings are doing work seprately under the supervision of our main organisation APFUTU.
Child Labour
Since 1993 we have recovered and freed 90.123 children from Child Labour and Slavery, forced as well as Bonded labour. APFUTU ran child labour schools but due to lack of funds these schools have been closed. Now only TWO schools are running.

These TWO schools are up to Matric education. We always say welcome to our friends, guests and delegations from abroad. Pakistani Falcons Stand up for Workers Rights
on
17th October 2008, hundreds childre
n aged 5 to 16 demonstrated against
the kiln industry and the government of Pakistan. Children stood
together in protest that the kiln industry refuses to pay their parents
according to the Minimum Wage set by the Punjabi government. The
children of these workers are dying of hunger and there is no
institution that will provide help to them, instead children are forced
to sell themselves and their parents resort to selling their kidneys to
pay for food and essential supplies. Hundreds of children planned the
protest rally under the banner of our organisation, APFUTU.
