All together
All together project aims:
To develop clear strategies to ensure European Falcon organisations are inclusive towards young people with fewer opportunities. European Falcon organisations have been establish for some 80 – 100 years and in many cases are part of the traditional youth service delivering programmes for young people. We aim to critically evaluate these traditional groups, including identifying barriers to participation.
Objectives of the All together project:- To increase awareness of inclusion issues within our organisations.
- To research European Falcon organisations and critically evaluate how inclusive they are including identifying barriers to participation.
- To increase the participation of young people with fewer opportunities in our activities
- To involve more leaders from different backgrounds in our work.
- To share best-practice approaches towards better inclusion.
- To develop new approaches based on research and joint expertise
- To produce a publication for use by falcon organisations including research results and analysis of the current situation, best-practice examples and methodology.
A bit more about the project:
The European Falcon Network has prioritised inclusion in its three-year work plan and the All Together strategy is now in full swing.
All European organisations face the same difficulties in ensuring our groups reflect the diversity of our communities and the steering group has developed an exciting and comprehensive work plan to support member organisations in addressing inclusion pro-actively.

All Together held its first seminar in April 2008
The activity was a great success, for more details click here
The steering group met in Vienna, 3-5th August, 2008 to study inclusion work being undertaken by our sister organisation, Kinderfreunde, as well as external organisations.
During the short time we tried to visit a number of projects run in Vienna by different organizations. We spent time with the workers of Parkbetreuung, a big inclusion project run by our organization – Kinderfreunde. We also visited other projects, like: an open youth centre, a mobile youth work centre and “Indoorspielplatz”.
Afterwards a training course took place in Lithuania from 5-9th November. The course brought together leaders from all over Europe who are motivated to be more inclusive but who are unsure where to begin. The training course was devoted to share hare ideas, tips and develop strategies for individual groups.
